- According to Xinhua News Agency, ZTE is expected to complete all equipment installations at China Mobile's TD-SCDMA trial networks by November 30. China Mobile's TD-SCDMA trial networks are slated to begin operation by the end of January 2008 following optimization and primary tests.

- Hua Xia Times, citing an anonymous source, reported that the deployment of TD-SCDMA trial networks in Qingdao by China Netcom is due for completion soon, ahead of China Mobile's similar project in Qinhuangdao.

- According to China Business News, an official at Datang Mobile denied reports that the company's equipment supply for TD-SCDMA trial networks has been much delayed. The official claimed that the company has completed approximately 80% of the said project.
